We were visiting the city and stopped for a break in the early afternoon. We had 4 desserts (they looked do good!) and 3 coffees, all different ones and all delicious. The best I had so far as a tourist touring different cities and towns in Italy. The staff was very pleasant and you can tell they have many regular customers, too. There are many tables inside as well as outside, at the front of the patisserie, so it's spacious and comfortable. You can get whole cakes, too, and then there are biscuits nicely packed in jars. I bought some as presents for friends back home, I'm sure they taste as good as they look ♥️- Trip type

I stopped for a break to try put pastries. They have special cakes, tarts, croissants, etc… I tried chocolate tarts and it was so good!! Not too sweet, which I like. The waitress is so friendly and welcoming. Looks like a lot of locals would come this place. Highly recommend!!
The service is fantastic. The gentleman working at the counter greets you upon entering, Is very attentive and makes your drink exactly as you wish. I had incredible espresso here and some of the best croissants in Italy. I highly recommend for your morning coffee.

I ordered a birthday cake for my wife from this pasticceria while still at home, before our vacation in San Gimignano—and the whole experience was truly exceptional.
They responded within just a couple of hours, were incredibly kind and professional, and offered to make any type of cake I had in mind. They even added a personalized message on top, exactly as requested.
When I arrived, the cake was already beautifully prepared and waiting for me. It looked amazing, tasted fantastic, and made my wife's birthday all the more special.
The communication with the team was perfect—friendly, prompt, and clear. You can really feel they care about what they do.

Don’t know why other reviewers complain about the pricing: it is clearly listed behind the bar, and this is standard practice all over Italy in my experience. It is also worth paying a little more to relax at a patio table in shade before/after a visit to the busy old town. Grazie mille!- Trip type

I came here 2 days in a row. The coffee and croissants were great. Lisa was extremely nice, helpful and fast. She remembered what I ordered from the day before. The bathroom was very clean. I will come back here if I visit San Ginignano in the future. I may even stay at the place next time secondary to the proximity to the town center.

We had an amazing breakfast here. The croissant was honestly the best I’ve ever had – so fresh and buttery. Coffee was really good too. Definitely recommend this place!! 🥐☕

On the via Francigena and stoped here for a sandwich and espresso. Very convenient. And bread was great as expected. They can also serve fresh squeezed orange juice and liquors and wine in addition to coffee.

Pros: We stayed here for one night. The apartment is huge and has a bed, tv and couch, small dining table and little kitchen. The air con and wifi work very well. The check in process at the cafe downstairs was easy, and check out the next morning also. Location is a fairly close walk to the town and we parked for free in the cemetery nearby. The kitchen has most things you’d need to make a simple meal, and also provided washing up equipment. Breakfast was provided from the cafe downstairs, and our pastries that we chose were delicious. The man who made the coffee was very friendly and charismatic.
Cons: shower flooded a bit so we had to pause every so often to let water drain. The place is quite dark and could do with another light given it’s a big area. Would also benefit from a hand towel or dishcloth for the kitchen. These are all minor issue and we still had a comfortable stay - would recommend for those coming to San Gimignano!- Trip type

The best croissant we ever had in Italy, super fresh! We went there two days straight. SInce it is located outside of the walls, the prices are more friendly than the ones on the city center. Clean bathroom and nice staff!

Amazing cafe next o the historic town of San Giminiano! A wide selection of tasty pastry and sweets (there even were vegan options for pastry!), all freshly baked and crispy. The coffee was aromatic and delicious. The prices were extremely fair and the owner was super friendly and spoke great English. You would totally miss out if you wouldn't grab a breakfast croissant here before sightseeing ✨
The pastries were delicious pieces of art together with great coffee. It was so good that we ordered again once we were finished with the first round :) Also very friendly staff.
